Giveaway from Disco Trash

Floorkiller is a jumping, bassline heavy, techno/electro track that typifies Disco Trash Music's party rocking DJ style.

The track itself, full of pent up energy, twists and writhes through multiple swift and energizing buildups giving the track drop after ear- pounding drop. First in line for remix duties is The Odd (formerly known as Vulkanik). His remix is a driving techno monster, drawn from a simple and smooth electro soundscape that swirls and wobbles around the pounding techno music. Joining the party, Audionite has turned in a gritty re-cut of the original. With filthy crashing snares and hyper punchy kicks, this cruncher of a track will leave the maddest dancefloor screaming for more. With the last remix in the package Seventeen Veins has re-cut a brooding crowd warmer of a track. Extrapolating the original, rounding the corners, then pulling out the rave synths and dropping them with typical perfect precision into his progressive tech remix of the piledriver original.

The Floorkiller package includes a track for all occasions, from considered tech to filthy party electro. On this basis Floorkiller is primed to fire...
Tracklist:
1. Disco Trash Music - Floorkiller (Original Mix)
2. Disco Trash Music - Floorkiller (The Odd Remix)
3. Disco Trash Music - Floorkiller (Audionite Remix)
4. Disco Trash Music - Floorkiller (Seventeen Veins Remix)

From the DT Peeps:

Disco Trash Music aka Felix Neuman and Christian Schnall are one of the hottest acts to come out of the maximal electro scene. And not since yesterday, but since 2007 their own club nights in Southern Germany are regularly packed with hundreds of people. Inspired by the sound of chainsaws, 90s rave and Miami ghetto bass they quickly took their new passion to the studio. Their first bootlegs and remixes saw them showered with blog love and it was not long before the world received some original Disco Trash Music in the form of their debut single “Neon Disco”, released on Freakz Me Out Records, complete with an all-star remix package coming from Moonbootica, Alex Gopher, Autokratz and Daniel Dexter. The single earned them heavyweight DJ support from the likes of Digitalism, Larry Tee, Malente, Azzido Da Bass and Evil Nine, BBC Radio One airplay, a 9/10 review in IDJ Magazine as well as a Top 10 position in the German Club Charts DCC.

In particular their „Bumper Cars EP“ with vocals by no less than Spoek Mathambo was dropped in dj-sets from big players of the scene like Steve Aoki, Cyberpunkers, Mustard Pimp, Stereoheroes, Toxic Avenger, Belzebass, Don Rimini, Edu K, RESET!, Stereo MC's, Calvertron, Illstm, Rico Tubbs, Manaia, Sharkslayer and a lot more. „Bumper Cars“ even made it to #07 in the German Club Charts DCC. Further releases are already raring to go! And in january 2011 Disco Trash Music are starting their own record label Globelle.

I was reading an article yesterday about Mtv’s Music Meter channel. So I went to check it out and didn’t find any type of House Music on it. You know what I do but I’d like to know how you support House Music. There’s a reason it’s still around all these years.
.
One of the best ways for an artist to promote themselves is by making a music video. I love to watch music videos. Here are a few of my posts that feature video playlists.

House Music Video Round Up
Here’s a Classic House Music Video Playlist featuring original videos from the 80’s & 90’s

Before we dive into the New Year here’s a Playlist of House Music Videos which came out this year
.
This is a Playlist of Dance Videos

And below are more videos from 2010. Specifically these are songs that I played alot.

Black Coffee's Superman featuring Bucie is a deep House Joint I fell in love with over the spring.

Alex Gaudino's I'm in Love is a song I played alot over the summer. It's a fun cute song that makes me happy when I hear it.

John Dahlbäck - Love Inside is a HUGE floor filler. This club banger was release January 2010 and this is the best video the Defected label could come up with. oh well, the song is THE Bomb.

Adrian Lux - Teenage Crime a song that had many remixes & I like for it's darkness.

Dennis Ferrer's Hey Hey came out Dec 2009 but the video didn't drop till spring. Plus I just love this joint. The video is great, it's like a teleNovela soap opera.

TURN IT UP”

Coming this February on Deep Sugar distributed by Strictly Rhythm
Produced by The Thrillers featuring remixes by: Paul Oakenfold, Wawa, Ruff Loaderz vs. Scott Giles, Muthafunkas and Ruben Macias and Raffa Scoccia

About Ultra Nate:
Twenty years after first sashaying onto international dance floors with the club anthem, “It’s Over Now” and subsequent global smashes like 1997’s inimitable “Free,” legendary diva, songwriter and DJ Ultra Naté returns with “Turn It Up.”

“Turn It Up” is a classic piece of progressive vocal house with an irresistible Ultra Naté hook. The track was produced in tandem by Brinsley Evans (writer and producer of Sandy B - “Make My World Go Round") and The Thrillers (AKA Aletti Brothers, Count De Money, Femi Williams). Remixes from Paul Oakenfold, Wawa, Ruff Loaderz vs. Scott Giles, Muthafunkaz and Ruben Macias & Raffa Scoccia deliver this package to many different colors on the dance music spectrum.

It was through the iconic NYC label Strictly Rhythm that Ultra Naté had the biggest success of her career with the worldwide smash single, “Free.” The anthemic track topped Billboard’s Hot Dance Club Play and Maxi-Singles Sales charts before crossing over to Top-40/dance radio. In England, “Free” became a Top-5 pop hit; and it went #1 all over Europe. It’s safe to say that “Free” pushed Naté into the mainstream on a worldwide level, greatly impacting her life and career. This was one of the songs that helped define the 90’s dance music explosion.

“Turn It Up” comes at a time of non-stop work and recording sessions for Ultra Naté. In addition to prepping her eighth studio album Hero Worship (set for release in 2011), Ultra Naté’s been busy in the studio with David Morales (for his upcoming album and hers); Robbie Rivera (for his new album); Todd Terry (for her album); Quentin Harris (a project entitled Black Stereo Faith that Naté describes as “sexy soul meets rock with a twinge of disco funk”); Nervo (co-writers of David Guetta’s worldwide chart topping “When Love Takes Over” featuring Kelly Rowland); Nicola Fasano (Italian DJ/producer responsible for the club hit “75, Brazil Street,” which was reworked by rapper Pitbull for his smash single, “I Know You Want Me”); “Waiting On You,” a funky disco duet with Destiny’s Child’s Michelle Williams and a new EP project with Baltimore’s Unruly Records crew entitled “Things Happen at Night” (a mix of hyped-up hip-hop grooves, raw house beats, heaving bass and ass-shaking beats). "Recent single “Destination” – a circuit party anthem with Tony Moran – recently entered the Top 10 on Billboard's Club Play chart (her 17th!) and is currently charting around the world. Ultra's recent single and video collaboration with Quentin Harris, "Give It 2 U" (featured on his Sacrifice full length) is setting dance floors ablaze with new remixes by StoneBridge, Frankie Knuckles, Derrick Carter, Sandy Rivera and more!

Mixtape by the Legendary Kevin Saunderson

Happy Weekend sweet luv! I hope you're in the mood to party because today I have a mixtape giveaway from the legendary Kevin Saunderson.
.
Respected and acknowledged around the world as one of the Detroit Techno innovators with over 20 years of DJ sets, live shows, productions, remixes and alter ego’s.
.
After his 2009 two-disc retrospective History Elevate, Kevin shifted into another gear by offering a constant flow of exciting new music via his KMS Records label, relaunching (with Paris Grey) the most celebrated Inner City project and by touring, producing and remixing more than ever before.
.
There’s no doubt that 2010 was highlighted by the reunion of Inner City at the Detroit Electronic Music Festival in May. In fact, Kevin's biggest achievement to date - and his most commercially recognized project - is Inner City. Considered one of the World's most influential Dance acts of all time, the Detroit duo is known for pioneering hits like "Big Fun" and "Good Life", "Ain't Nobody Better", through to "Hallelujah", "Pennies From Heaven", "Till We Meet Again", "Do Ya", "Your Love" (to name but a few) plus the Spanish re-recording of their 1989 hit "Good Life",(Buena Vida), which became a Number One Club hit in Europe and entered the Top Ten on the UK Pop Charts. To date, Inner City have had 12 Top 40 hits in the UK, as well as having had two Top 20 albums, with combined sales of more than six million. Inner City also received four Gold singles, one Gold Album and one Platinum Album.

In 2011, Kevin Saunderson joins forces with Derrick May for a world tour featuring a four-turntable tag-team battle – techno like it oughta be. Kevin’s also preparing a bunch of new tracks under his own name and for Inner City while a very special collaboration with another techno legend is in the works (more on that down the road.) In the meantime, an essential listen for any techno and dance music fan is Kevin Saunderson’s History Elevate compilation. The first Disc features Kevin’s own remixes of tracks from Wee Papa Girl Rappers, Cameo, Cerrone, Hercules & Love Affair and Simian Mobile Disco while the second disc features artists (including Luciano, Carl Craig, Jesse Rose, etc) remixing Kevin’s originals tracks.

new Deep House Music from Goran Tech

new music▁▂▃▅▆▇█♬♪♩ new music ▁▂▃▅▆▇█♬♪♩new music

I know you've heard this dude Goran Tech representing the Macedonian house music scene very nicely because I've featured him before. I dig his style, I'm feeling it . . . it moves me.

You can check out his brand new release on the player below.

Artist:Goran Tech
Title: One Way EP
Featuring: Dont't Come Back and Space Hero + remix by Kerkez
Label: Artefact Records

From the GT Peeps:
The young Macedonian producer Goran Tech & Artefact records invite you on a musical roller coaster with their 5th release "One way" EP.
There are times when there is only "One Way" to go - into the flipped world of mixed sounds.
Tough beats, grunts, grinds and a heavy sub bass that finally launches into a gorgeous spring-loaded nu-Tech ride.

A purely ingenious use of sampling to create a groove, Goran Tech takes the percussion of a ping pong rally and uses it as the back beat to set his track "Don't come back", simple in its construction, but has a bigger feel to it.
It’s the perfect track to either keep the groove moving, or use it for build up and take the set to the next direction, which is up or forward… While the Kerkez remix bit more defined, dark and deep techy, echos with trippy percussion.
"Space hero" turns a more of a bouncy feeling, with its filtered stabs and drum rolls, spiced up with catchy funky trumpet chords & flanged vocals.

"One way" or the other, this EP will stick to your eardrums & hopefully get you on the right direction.

Best Of 10 Dada Harris & Obernik 'Stereo Flo' (Jonathan Ulysses & Steve Haines Remix Edit)

Best Of 10 Antarctica 'Antarctica' (Steve Kaetzel Remix Edit)

Best Of 10 9 Lives Planet Earth (Serotonin Thieves Remix)

About the CD:

Destined records are very proud to present the best of their catalogue from the last ten years with this bespoke digital compilation. Thirty-one tracks showcase the musical retrospective with a selection of exclusive new remixes as well as all the originals mixed into two DJ sets by label owner Matt Schwartz.

The very first artist name that Matt used was the M’Black moniker, one that is still used today. This represented Matt’s more progressive or trancier sounds and the first release was ‘Day Dream.’ Over the following years there are other noteworthy pseudonyms Matt created such as The Drill, which represented the techier side of house, and Dada, which catered for the electro/ mainstream house audience.

As a means to mark the anniversary of the label, Matt thought it would be a good idea to ask some of his friends, piers and up and coming producers to remix some of the back catalogue and some of these names include Felix Baumgartner, Mastiksoul, Rui Da Silva, Dean Newton, Steve Kaetzel, Jonathan Ulysses, Ron May, Damien J Carter, Ted Nilsson, Nathan C, Breakdown, Sidechains, Dubba Jonny and Loverush UK. There are a total of 15 new remixes as well as a bonus exclusive track Matt included with Mastiksoul and has already been supported by David Guetta called ‘Tasty.’ The package is completed with two DJ mixes mixed by Matt himself. One of the originals and one of the exclusive new remixes.

The Best Of 10 compilation will be available from Beatport and I-Tunes on 6th December 2010.
