New House Music mixtape from the House Moguls

It's really Friday sugarlips.

I started out my weekend yesterday with a frosty rum runner @ the HardRock. It's way too warm in South Florida but the fruity frosty kept things nice.

Now let me hook you up with some good house music. Today's mixtape is from the The House Moguls, Bill Basil a.k.a. "Billy The Kid" & Gus Calderone representing CHICAGO to the fullest. This is what I'm talkin 'bout this is the house music that I love.

I'm sure as house music fans we all have the love of dancing in common. This is another reason why house music is my favorite genre = it mOVes me. It's like therapy to get a good dance on, where you are all sweety and happy from the adrenaline rush. umhmm, you know what i'm talkin bout!

Now, some of you may live in the boonies or may be new to the house music scene or (and here's where I fall) are such a dancing fiend you're always on the lookout for new moves.

I'm here to help point you in the right direction. That's what this blog is for.

Fellow Miami house head Danny Dance has a fun new online show that teaches peeps house music dance moves. He's lived in New York, the Dominican Republic and South Florida but told me he fell in love with HouseMUsic in Salt Lake City, Utah. I was like watagatta?! and I know you're like wth?! It just proves that House Music is indeed worldwide, growing and breaking barriers baby.

So tune in below to check out an episode and maybe learn a thing or two to merge with your own personal style. These vids make me smile. I love how he drops genre tidbits of knowledge in the mix. I know I'm looking forward to future episodes.

For over 15 years, Deepswing's Eric Wikman wrote & produced several chart-topping international club hits, beginning with the disco classic, "In The Music," which was featured in the Dreamworks film, "The Tuxedo" starring Jackie Chan and two other classics by Sunkids feat. Chance, "Rise Up" (also featured in the major film, "Sum Of All Fears") and "Rescue Me."

Eric also remixed works by Kristine W, Jamiroquai and Michael Proctor among others. He operates his own label, Generate Music, writing & producing more than 60 original house releases to date.

About TONY NUCCIO

Tony Nuccio has been collaborating with Deepswing since 2008.

At the age of 14, Tony went from playing classical piano to scratching hip-hop records. His love for underground music as a young DJ developed from digging through the crates of LA's long-gone record shops.

Since 2002, Tony has been working in the same circles of many influential people in the music industry through his involvement with the jazz & soul label, Hidden Beach, which was home to Jill Scott.

Recently, he was the DJ for the official Los Angeles celebration commemorating the first Harvey Milk Day held at Hollywood's Madame Tussauds in 2010. Tony Nuccio's first productions have already gained attention being supported and licensed by labels & DJs.

Swedish House Mafia ~ new EP Until ONE

The Swedish House Mafia is a powerhouse of talent with each of it's members being extremely successful individuals
. . . and they are: . . . Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso.

Today I am previewing their latest, greatest collaboration titled Until ONE which officially drops October 25th.

The album features over 24 of their best, big bangin, floor fillers and brand new remixes. I say without a doubt go get it. You know and love all of these songs and their remixes are tight.

The album is also the soundtrack for the movie Take One. The film is a documentary about the group. I can't wait to see it. The trailer shows some wild moments.

You know, I've been listening to remixes of Adrian Lux's Teenage Crime all summer long but am just now getting to watch the video.

It's a nicely shot video directed by Tobias Hansson and tells a disturbing story so you know I like it. Check it out.
