Hey sugar sugar,


I'm planning a 4th of July party in my backyard. wooohooo We have the best view of the annual fireworks show w/out the worry of parking or crowds. The hardest part is that I've got so much new music it won't be easy to get it down to a 4hour set. How cool is that? 4 hours w/no repetion. ja! u know how we do here.

Today I have a brand new joint to add to the playlist. I'm loving these guys style. It's deep house music with heavy bass lines. This is what I call a big house tune that sounds best played loudly in the club. I'm talking about the duo Collins & Behram. They met in Budapest and have been working together since 2004 becoming popular all over Europe. In 2008 they made a debut on Global Underground, when Felix Da Housecat chose their track for his compilation. They have a brand new single called:

King of Pop


Based on the respect and esteem felt for Michael Jackson, the well-known producer duo Collins & Behnam have made an outstanding masterpiece in honour of Michael’s unique and significant reign in musical culture. The song uses the original speech from his funeral given by Reverend Al Sharpton. Catching melodies and easy grooves, emotional, moving grounds and a nice breakdown define this track the most.

We've made it through the hot steamy weekend into a bright and sparkly Monday.
Today I'm in the mood to watch some music videos. TV and movies are my favorite pastimes in addition to listening to great music. Since MTV doesn't play music videos anymore I watch the other music channels on my satellite network like: MUN2, VH1 and FUSE. But I watch the majority of videos online on YouTube or Vevo.

This is the DJ Derezon featuring Jason Caesar video for the track called Movies. The song is great and I like this video. I love the way they created colorful graphics to display the lyrics. There's only a little bit of dancing going on in the background but what I like the most is the video gives us feel for the artists personality. It's all about him. He wants us to know who he is and tells us if we treat him right he'll make a movie with us.

This is the video for the song Let U Go which features Feat. Jason Caesar, Caramel & Natasha. Just as in the previous video not much else is going on other than pretty graphics and close ups of the artists. I like the song so I like the video.

new Deep House Music

hey hey sugar lips,

It's Friday but I started my weekend yesterday. It's summertime here in South Florida and the sun doesn't go down until after 8:30 pm so we went to check out the Velodrome track for cycling and in line skating. If you are into the sports of either cycling or skating you must check it out. It's brand new, clean, well kept and fun fun fun. You're gonna love it.

FYI - you must wear helmet and safety gear at all times.

I always exercise with my ipod. I have to have my music with me. It inspires me to move my skeleton. So today we have a brand new track from the peeps at Phonetic Recordings to add to your play list. The Original titled HOME is hot and my favorite remix is Paul Harris of course. You can hear it in the video below.

New House Music: Thomas Gandy - Behind the Mask

Hey sweets, it's officially SUMMER!

Even though the average temperature in South Florida has been in the 90's for a few weeks now June 21st is the day summer officially begins. That means the best time to be outdoors is before 9:00am or after 6:00pm.

Since I'm spending my summer days in the wonderfully chill a/c indoors I'm watching music videos. Sadly music videos in the house music genre are usually low budget and majorly cheesy so my expectations are not very high.

Today's video is a brand new release by Thomas Gandy called Behind the Mask.

The song is electro with a rumbling baseline but the video gives it a tribal feel with the way peeps are dressed and they way they are dancing. The video is like a sneak peek into what we all do when we dance in our room at home. Although it's a low budget effect I do love to see dancing in videos. I like the video and I think the song is great especially when the chorus hits (BOOM) it makes me want to get up and dance. What do you think?

Different Train, a techno electro tune Maelstrom began in a train back from a German gig, with recordings of the train itself directly from his macbooks mic. The name is a reference, and an homage to one of his personal favourite composers, Steve Reich.

Then we got Outta Congo, a bassline wobbly house tune with a dubstep breakdown and kind of tropical beats, along the lines of last year's jungle jacker. The third one on the vinyl is Embush, a crazy dubstep meets techno psychedelic trippy tune. No chemicals needed, this tune is crazy enough to turn your mind upside down on its own.

House Music Videos = Dancing

Hey sweet lips,

You know how much I love dancing . . . well someone just recommended i see this video and I loved it so much I had to share it with you.

It's a track called Roses on Fire by a group called Pink Room featuring vocals by Antonia. The track appears on Romanian DJ Tom Boxer's April 2010 various artists CD compilation. I've never heard any of the songs or artists before but this video makes me want to explore more.

I love the video because both the girl and boy are having the greatest time dancing in it. I wish more artists in the house music genre had nice videos. Anyways . . . enjoy the vid.

Time to bump some house music, that's what!

This is what I'm listening to after a tasty veggie taco lunch. It was all cilantro and onion goodness. Now that I'm feeling happy this tune right here is really doing it for me.

It's a classic, make the peeps have fun on the dance floor type of single. The title is Work It (Till Ya Pass Out) by Patrick Hagenaar on Tune brother's Housession records. There are 4 official remixes. I like the original best and I'm also feeling the remix by fast rising Hungarian house producers Lauer & Canard.

Sander Kleinenberg’s ultrahot Little Mountain Recordings is back with its latest release entitled This Is Our Night, the 2010 Remixes! The release hits the streets on May 10th 2010.

On remix duties are Dutch supertalents and rising stars of the moment Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano, who delivered their Amazon Project interpretation. Next to this banger there’s a fresh 5K Remix by the master himself.

This Is Our Night is the single taken from the highly anticipated forthcoming studio album 5K which he has been working on since the beginning of the year with chart topping, producer extraordinaire Josh Gabriel, that has been causing maximum impact for a select few DJs the world over, and in particular for Sander in his sets. We at Little Mountain Recordings are now delighted to announce the release of the 2010 remixes.
