Who is St. Germain
House pioneer Ludovic Navarre, alias St Germain, took his name from the area of Paris where he grew up, Saint-Germain-en-Laye. Not wanting to sound like anyone else he developed his own sound fusing jazz and house music since the mid 1990's. Although he's only produced two LP's, St. Germain enjoys a cult status in the electro world. His music also has found firm footing in the jazz community and garnered him a great deal of praise. Navarre has also remixed such varying artists as Bjork, Pierre Henry and the Suburban Knight.
